WEB DEVELOPMENT

  • Working with a designer and the client, extensively modified and expanded an e-commerce web application for a supplements company with an existing and expansive Ebay store. The client needed a proprietary CMS platform customized.
  • Built an accessories e-commerce site for car dealerships which allows customers to browse retail shops with custom inventory and prices while using one product database. Used hooks, filter, templates, and plugins to customize Woocommerce.
  • Working with a style guide, developed a new site in WordPress for a theportlandballet.org. Made custom changes to the theme.
  • Designed and developed monkeypuzzle.co and morganwalkerartist.com. Built custom responsive themes in WordPress and custom modules in PHP.
  • Responsible for backend development of portlandgridproject.com. Made the site more interactive, allowing users to search on several different image attributes. Created a map page with a grid overlay that allows users to select a grid or search on a zip code or address, and view the resulting galleries. Provided the ability for a curator of the month to create a custom gallery. Wrote several custom modules: a migration module which migrated 6,000 images into Drupal, a custom image input screen module, and image date lookup module.
  • Developed a Bootstrap WordPress Woocommerce website selling LED outdoor lighting at azoutdoorlighting.com. Wrote a custom Woocommerce plugin and template for the effects pages.
  • Modified a Bootstrap WordPress site, improving navigation and SEO, adding a call to action, social media, and a products slideshow. Wrote templates for the Team and Services pages. Created a Google Adwords campaign at atlassignawning.com.
  • Developed a custom responsive theme in WordPress, which incorporates a calendar so that parents can look up available make-up sessions and request a time slot at mindoverlearning.com.
  • Developed an e-commerce site at ulitmatehairaway.com. As the developer, converted Photoshop designs into a functioning Volusion online store.
  • Working with an existing English version of smellydog.com, built a multilingual e-commerce site in Drupal 6.
  • Maintained an Ubercart online store at tomorrowsnutrtion.com.
  • Maintained reflexdirect.com, a WordPress/Volusion online store.
  • Designed and developed a prior version of morganwalkerartist.com in Joomla 1.6. Modified an existing template and module.
  • Wrote software for a Willamette Industries plant utilizing a procedurally oriented programming language and Database Management System.
